If you or your children are in school, there’s a good chance that you spend quite a bit of time studying – or at least you should be! However, studying can be hard simply because there are so many external factors that can break your concentration. It’s even harder today than it was a few decades ago. Back then, there were no cell phones ringing, no iPods with access to the Internet, and fewer distractions in general. If you find that you are one of the many who has trouble keeping focused while you are trying to study, then you may want to consider the benefits of table fountains.
Table fountains are great additions to the desk where you study. If you study at the kitchen table, you can simply use the fountain there. One of the benefits of these types of water fountains is their size. They are small enough to take with you from room to room. Just be careful that you don’t spill the water!
You will find that the table fountains do not cost much either. You should be able to afford one easily. If you are a youngster who wants a fountain and doesn’t yet have a job, consider asking for one as a gift for your birthday.
Another trick that can help you study in addition to the table fountains is music. However, not all types of music are good for study. Try to stay away from anything that has lyrics, as your mind will be trying to do two things at once – study and listen to the lyrics! Some of the best music for studying is classical, particularly piano or violin sonatas played low in the background. If you don’t like classical, consider using orchestral scores from films that you enjoy. The works of Danny Elfman as well as the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter soundtracks can work wonders. You still want to be able to hear the sound of the water, so it’s important to keep the music low.
One caveat though. The sound of the water trickling along the water fountains can be so relaxing that you might find that you are getting a bit sleepy! If you find that your lids are growing heavy when you are studying, then you should get up and walk around for a few minutes to get the blood flowing again.
